Who we are
Bloodworks is a Dutch provider of preventive blood testing. Our team consists exclusively of BIG-registered doctors trained in the Netherlands, with experience in general practice, internal medicine, bariatric medicine, psychiatry and laboratory medicine. Our medical team is growing.
How we work
You choose a test online or build your own. Blood is drawn by venepuncture at one of 800+ affiliated collection points; analysis is performed by Dutch medical laboratories with ISO 15189 accreditation. Every result is reviewed and interpreted by our own doctors, and your values live in a personal dashboard that follows them over time. Reference values are always those of the performing laboratory.
What we are not
Bloodworks does not replace your GP. If you have symptoms or an abnormal result, we advise contacting your own doctor.
Our mission
Why Bloodworks exists
Many people want insight into their health but face long wait times, expensive private clinics, or hesitate to burden their GP. Bloodworks fills this gap.
We believe preventive healthcare should be accessible to everyone, not just those with a referral or a subscription to an expensive clinic. Our pricing is straightforward: you pay a one-off €29 for the blood draw per order, and from €225 that amount is waived. Our large value packages are priced above that, so they are all-in. Smaller packages and individual markers are not automatically all-in, and you always see the exact amount in your basket before you pay.
Every report is personally interpreted by a BIG-registered doctor. Not an automated red-flag system, but a person who puts your values in context.

Blood draw at a location
Visit one of the 800+ collection points in the Netherlands. Most locations accept walk-ins.
Doctor interpretation
Your laboratory results are assessed by a BIG-registered doctor who personally interprets your values.

You receive a personal PDF report by email, in plain language, with every value explained.
