For a blood count you do not need to fast. If you combine it with glucose or cholesterol, we advise 8 hours fasting.
What does a blood count measure?
Your red blood cells (erythrocytes, haemoglobin, MCV), your white blood cells (leukocytes) and your platelets (thrombocytes).
